Location:       Automotive Campus, Helmond
Admission:    free (priority for target group)

Candidate entrepreneurs in the automotive and mobility market are challenged to join the first automotive start-up IDEA-day at January 25th, 2018 on the Automotive Campus in Helmond, the Netherlands.

During this event potential start-up companies and entrepreneurs get the opportunity to get expert insights in the specific opportunities and challenges of the automotive and mobility market from industry experts. Experience shows that a lot of starting companies with innovative ideas lack the knowhow and experience that is needed to succeed in this particular market segment. Issues like supply chain characteristics, homologation and quality management – to mention just a few – can have major impact on the proposed business plan.

Automotive Incubator Program
The initiative for this event is taken by the automotive start-up support company Shift2Start, within the framework of the Automotive Incubator Program. As a part of this program the necessary (shared) facilities are hosted by the Automotive Campus, the non-profit organisation promoting collaborative use of existing and new prototyping, testing and manufacturing facilities. In this way new start-up companies are offered a soft landing and a natural connection to the wide network of industry, knowledge- and government partners.

Wide variety of subjects
Keynotes will touch the topics of the automotive industry characteristics, the fast developing mobility market and visions for the future. Also practical and hands-on knowhow will be shared on subjects like automotive market trends and opportunities, feasible business models, position in the supply/value chain, financing and grants. Of course there will be also enough time and space to meet each other and to expand your network.
