Škoda Auto has invested in Israeli start-up Anagog, securing access to new technology in the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data.

Founded in 2010, Anagog’s AI-based technology is already in use in more than 100 different smartphone apps.

Škoda says that the investment is its next move to expand in the Israeli start-up scene. The automaker intends to use the products developed by Anagog to extends its range of services in digital mobility.

It develops technologies ranging from analysis of data from smartphone sensors and will use them in creating movement patterns. The collected data is processed using an AI software.
